Founder Dr. Joe Faircloth

In 1975 I received a personal visitation from God. He spoke to me about a future
Ministry in Africa. At this time, not only was I not serving God, but I had
been heavily involved in the Klu Klux Klan (KKK)!
I had no intentions of traveling to Africa.
So He gave me a choice. Accept Christ as Lord and Savior, follow His leadership or
continue on my own course of violence and intimidation. My course,
He said, would lead to my death within three months. Thank God for His grace.
I chose Jesus Christ.
From that time until now, I have pursued the vision He gave me concerning Africa.
It was not a small thing, but a commission to reach every nation on the continent. To teach them how the truth,
the knowledge of God, can change a person’s heart from traditional tribalism into the very image of Christ.
To show the Nations how to receive this knowledge through the fivefold gifts that God gave to the church.
I have found in 20 years of travel to Kenya, Uganda, and other nations, that much of the local Church leadership
has not received the training necessary to produce new leadership in the Body of Christ. The Church needs more than
Sunday morning singing, they need to know how to cultivate a personal relationship with Christ. This is not their fault,
but it is the reason we have been called to all nations to make Disciples of Jesus Christ.
In 2006, while in Kenya, East Africa, the Lord spoke again. He instructed me to form a ministry that would
be known as Burning Bush Ministries International. I asked the simple question, “Why?”
His answer was to remind me of Moses and his calling. As I meditated on this and all that Moses was
used to do, God asked my heart another question...
“What did I say to Moses? I want my people free to know me, that they may live my Word, in it’s
fullness of my life...not from man’s opinion or religious emptiness, but in My promises.”
In the revelation of the Burning Bush we have three concepts.
1. The Bush is established on the ROCK. It
can’t be moved even in the wilderness of a desert.
Jesus is the Rock of our Salvation.
2. In itself, the Bush has no power. It is
just a shrub. No opinion, no self-will, just a bush.
A Servant.
3. When filled with the Fire of God, it
reveals the nature, love, mercy, and judgment of God & His power.
From the Bush came everything Moses was to be as God’s servant. He became a flaming
fire that spoke the Heart of God in power to His people and the World.
Everything we are, and that we are involved in, has been directed by the Lord,
Jesus Christ. It is His Fire, His Will, His Spirit that directs and supplies
this ministry.
In 35 years of serving God, in my relationship with God, I have learned that
what He has spoken SHALL come to pass. Burning Bush Ministries International is
not a man’s vision, but a fulfillment of the voice that came from the Bush.
Just as Moses was followed by signs and wonders, so are we filled with the same
FIRE. In all we do and say, we seek to obey that same Voice that still speaks
to us today!
“Go and Set My People Free, so they may Worship Me.”
